Chapter 277: I Forgive You
Chapter 277: I Forgive You
"Oh this?" West laughed while raising the phone slightly. "This is barely the beginning."
Darius’ eyes looked bloodshot now.
West slowly approached him again, stopping just close enough for their faces to nearly meet. "You know what bothered me most?"
"You never even remembered her."
"My sister died... due to your carelessness..."
"...and you forgot."
"You ruined my family," he said quietly. "I grew up in a broken home because of you. My mother lost herself. My father spent years holding together scraps. My childhood became a mess because you people decided innocent deaths were acceptable losses."
West’s smile slowly returned as he leaned in even closer. "So now... I’ll make sure you experience the same thing."
Darius growled like a wounded beast as West continued calmly, "But unlike you, I have no intention of physically harming your family."
He tilted his head slightly. "At least not directly."
His smile widened further. "I’m going to replace you."
Darius stiffened while West’s eyes gleamed with cruel amusement.
"I’ll slowly become the person your children rely on."
"Your wife too."
"I’ll take your place in their lives piece by piece while you sit here helplessly watching yourself disappear from their memories."
Darius’ breathing became rough. "No..."
West chuckled softly. "Oh yes."
"And eventually?" His voice lowered to a whisper. "I’ll fuck your wife too."
Darius snapped and the restraints seemed like they were about to burst apart from how violently he struggled.
"I’LL KILL YOU!"
"You hear me?!"
"I’LL RIP YOUR HEART OUT!"
West burst into a loud laughter that echoed throughout the chamber in a way that made Darius look even more unhinged.
"Prepare yourself," West said while stepping away. "Because once I start sending you footage... you’ll wish I killed you that night instead."
West proceeded to turn around and walk toward the exit while Darius screamed after him nonstop.
West ignored every single one of his threats, curses and rage-filled promises.
The heavy steel door eventually shut behind him with a loud metallic boom, leaving Darius alone in darkness once again still screaming helplessly.

The next morning was strangely quiet and peaceful.
For once, West sat in his apartment without worrying about brewing danger, ruins or gang conflicts.
Warm sunlight spilled through the large windows while the smell of coffee filled the air.
West sat on the couch with one arm resting lazily across the backrest with a calm expression.
Across from him sat Mark and Debra... his parents.
It still felt strange seeing them in the same room again after so many years but for the first time, West seemed okay with it.
Mark looked older than usual today. The exhaustion beneath his eyes had become even more obvious lately, especially after everything involving Debra resurfaced.
Debra on the other hand, looked nervous.
Her fingers kept intertwining repeatedly on her lap.
Mark finally sighed heavily before speaking. "Son..."
West looked toward him and Mark lowered his gaze slightly. "I’m sorry."
"I know I failed you."
West remained silent while sipping on hot morning coffee.
Mark continued quietly, "Keeping everything from you for all those years... the truth about your sister... the truth about what happened to your mother... I know I had no right."
Debra immediately shook her head.
"No," she said quickly. "It was my fault."
Her eyes became watery almost instantly. "I’m the one who made him promise."
West continued to watch silently as Debra’s voice trembled. "I was losing my mind back then, West."
She lowered her head. "Every single day after your sister died felt unbearable. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. Every corner of the house reminded me of her."
Her tears finally spilled over. "I was terrified of losing you too."
Mark quietly moved closer to her as Debra continued, "Your father stayed because he was trying to hold us together. He hid everything because I begged him to."
She looked directly at West now. "So please... don’t blame him."
Mark sighed tiredly. "I should’ve told you eventually," he admitted.
"But every time I tried... I remembered the condition she was in back then."
West leaned back against the couch slowly, not carrying the same heaviness as he did back when the situation was revealed to him.
Debra wiped her tears before speaking again. "At least... fate finally punished him."
West’s eyes flickered slightly.
Debra continued softly, "It must be some kind of miracle that the awakener responsible for your sister’s death finally met his end at another awakener’s hands."
Mark nodded slowly. "Maybe this is the universe balancing itself."
West almost laughed internally hearing that.
If they knew the truth... they would never describe it as fate.
Neither of them had the slightest idea that the man responsible for their daughter’s death was currently alive but armless somewhere underground and that West was the hand of fate itself that had dealt with the culprit.
Still, he said nothing.
Debra reached for his hand carefully. "I know I failed as a mother."
Her voice cracked badly as she continued. "But not a single day passed where I stopped thinking about you."
West looked down quietly and for the first time in years, he could barely feel the resentment he had built up for her.
Despite the situation not being her fault, she still felt deeply regretful.
West finally exhaled slowly. "I’m still angry," he admitted.
Both of them looked at him immediately with troubled expressions.
He continued, "You disappeared from my life. Dad hid everything from me. And I suddenly learnt I had a sister this whole time."
"That’s not something I can just easily move past."
Debra nodded through tears. "I know."
Mark also nodded quietly while West rubbed his forehead tiredly.
"But..."
Both parents stiffened slightly as West sighed again.
"I understand why you both broke."
Silence filled the apartment as West looked toward Mark.
"I forgive you."
Mark’s eyes widened slightly and then immediately reddened.
West turned toward Debra afterward. "And you too."
Debra instantly broke down crying again.
"But," West added firmly, "that doesn’t magically fix everything."
He looked between both of them. "Our family is still split apart. I don’t even know how things are supposed to become normal again."
Debra slowly held his hand tighter. "We try."
West turned to look at her. "Hmm..."
"That’s all we can do now," she whispered. "I blame myself every day for not trying harder... but I’ve decided something."
Her grip tightened slightly. "I’m going to do my absolute best from now on."
Mark reached forward too, placing his hand over West’s other hand.
"You gave me a second chance," he said quietly. "Maybe this family deserves one too."
West stared at both their hands silently while Mark smiled faintly.
"It may never become what it used to be," he admitted. "But... who knows?"
His smile became slightly warmer. "Maybe what we rebuild next will still be worth something."
For the first time in a very long while, West didn’t pull away.

~ Two Days Later ~
West gripped Lianhua’s hips tightly, driving his thick cock deep into her soaked pussy from behind as she bent over the massive kitchen counter.
Her hands clutched the edge of the slab while her knuckles turned white from the strain as her round ass rippled with every powerful thrust.
Pah!
Pahhh!
Puuhh!
Puuhh!
Pah!
The wet sounds of his shaft slamming into her filled the large kitchen space causinh her moans tp echo loudly off the walls.
"Fuck, yes, pound me harder," she gasped while her body jolted forward with each shot, causing juices to drip down her thighs onto the floor.
His balls slapped against her clit with rhythmic force, stretching her walls as he pulled back and rammed in again, making her ass cheeks bounce and jiggle obscenely.
Lianhua’s panted heavily as her pussy clenched around him in spasms.
West leaned over her, reaching one hand around to pinch her nipple through her top and twisting it roughly while he maintained the brutal pace.
Suddenly, the kitchen door swung open with a creak, accompanied by Mei’s voice, "Hello? Who’s here?"
In a flash, Lianhua dropped completely to the floor, crouching low behind the central counter slab with her heart pounding.
West yanked his pants up just enough to cover his exposed cock and balls while sliding onto the nearby stool to hide the bulge and the lowered waistband.
He sat casually, positioning his legs well to conceal everything.
Mei stepped inside while glancing around. "West? What are you doing here all alone?" she questioned while tilting her head.
He cleared his throat twice before speaking. "Finished late with your mom’s workout because I arrived late myself. Decided to wait around for you to get back."
"Where’s mom?" Mei pressed while peering toward the stairs.
"Probably up there somewhere," West replied smoothly while standing up from the stool and moving toward her with swift steps before she could approach the counter.
He intercepted her near the doorway with his erection still prominent, poking hard against the fabric of his pants.
Mei’s eyes widened as she spotted the outline. "Wow..." she let out a breathe, nearly drooling at the sight.
Her tongue darted out to wet her lips unconsciously.
"It missed you," West said with a grin while stepping closer.
